Combined Wines & Foods is a member of the Australian Packaging Covenant (APC). By definition of the APC we are classified as “Brand Owners” within the supply chain. As a signatory to the Covenant we are required to submit an Action Plan, the purpose of which is to show how Combined Wines & Foods intends to meet its obligations to the Covenant.
The three main goals are :
- Design – Optimise packaging to use resources efficiently and reduce environmental impact without compromising product quality and safety.
- Recycling – Efficiently collect and recycle packaging.
- Product Stewardship – Demonstrate commitment of all signatories.
As a signatory, our plan is to develop a better understanding of how to achieve our covenant goals.
